Pendente Dea Madre Turriga

This pendant is inspired by a sculpture found in the "Turriga" locality in Sardinia and is believed to represent the feminine deity of the Mother Goddess and the Earth in general, the giver and nurturer of life; maternal womb and earth that welcomes her children after death. The original specimen of this statue is made of marble, likely produced around the 4th century BCE, and is currently preserved at the National Archaeological Museum of Cagliari.
